Dan Woynillowicz is a Senior Policy Analyst with the Pembina Institute. Dan joined the Pembina Institute in 2001 as an environmental policy analyst in the Energy Watch Program.

Since 2003, he has led the Institute's engagement in the review of proposed oil sands projects and in the numerous multi-stakeholder initiatives involved in regional environmental management and monitoring in the Athabasca oil sands. Dan acts as a spokesperson for the Institute and has presented expert testimony regarding the environmental impacts of oil sands development before both provincial and federal regulatory review panels. He holds a B.Sc. in Environmental Science (University of Calgary) and an MA in Environment and Management (Royal Roads University).
